Default Help buying a laptop

I am going into college and I am looking for a laptop. I need alot of memory, speed, and stuff like that. It will be used for school work, internet, music movies and pictures. i was thinking about an Apple but i am trying to decide which to get? any ideas? thanks alot

well if its not going to be used for gaming then it really doesnt matter, just go out and but one from bestbuy or something (but if your looking for a brand i would go with HP, i heard they are pretty good).

vaio, hell no. mac, dont ask again. go to ibuypower.com and configure a nice one. i thought i saw a finger print scanner on there the other day. whats your budget for this laptop?

try typing www.ibuypower.com some times if you leave out the www it dosent work

wait you are building one too? because for 3000 you can buy this lappy and have 1000 left over for a desktop, which is enough for a nice one
