360 confusion

I have a 360 premium but the only originol xbox games it will play are haol and halo 2... look i know there is a list of games and not all games work well fable is on that list and it wont work along with others. why is this???

What happens when you put the game in?

Are you connected to Xbox Live at the time you put it in, thats a big factor.

You'll need Xbox Live in order to update BC list and to download updates for specific games.

Shit i knew there was a problem. i dont have live is there a way i can put the patch (or whatever it is) on a cd then dl it to my 360?

I am not sure about that. I havent heard of that being done. The best thing to do would be to connect to Xbox live with a Silver Edition Membership or watever its called. Its free and comes with a premium package.

I remember someone providing a link to the 360 website with a tutorial about how to burn a CD with the updates and then update your 360 with it. It's possible but your best bet right now is to go to the 360 website and start searching.
