Default screensaver password

I selected the box which enables the prompt window asking for password after interupting the screensaver, how can I now choose which password to use?

Currently if I leave the password box blank it will give me access, how do I make a password instead of having [blank] as password?

You have to create a password for your windows user account. That's the password that is used for the screensaver.

the screensaver will ask you for the password of the account you are using when it appears.... so all you have to do is set a password on you windows XP account ( i assume you know how to do that)
and if you don't ... just try writing this in CMD
net user USERNAME PASSWORD
remember you will be asked for the password before you log in to windows everytime

In Windows XP, when you enable password protect it will bring you to the login menu, and then ask you for your login password. If you dont have any user accounts set up, or dont have any passwords, then it wont work.

In Windows 95/98, when you enable password protect it will ask you to enter the old password (if there is on), then enter the new one.
