Default Explorer.exe crash due to Movie file?

Everytime I try to open a folder containing several movie files (mpeg, wmv I guess), explorer.exe just crashes.. What could cause this?

It happens in every folder containing movies, so it isn't one specific file causing it. I'll try downloading the newest DivX first.

edit: Heck yeah, K-Lite did it, thanks a lot!

Default Hmmm

Try disabling any program that could be using that folder as a shared resource. I would also check to make sure that the folder is not shared. I have had a simmilar problem with having the folder shared over the network. It contained music and movies.

Thanks, but I already fixed it by insalling the K-Lite Codec Pack.
