Default Hiper Power Supplies

I was looking into getting a Hiper 580W PSU (one of these) but I had heard issues about it not fitting with the top fan on the Aspire X-Dreamer II. Does anybody have one of these PSUs, and can give me physical dimensions, so that I can measure it?

OK, using the pictures from Newegg, i did some math. Assuming that the fan is exactly 120mm, using proportions, the whole power supply should be about 15.7cm long. Is that right?

An ATX case will hold an ATX PSU without problem or it couldn't be classified as ATX.

Well the post had said that the top fan didn't work with it....

Oh well, I will try it.

Unless I'm mistaken, that fan should be on the bottom.

I also think it will fit as they would not be able to legaly call it an ATX case as mentioned above!,the fan must be on the bottom otherwise there would be no point. I looked at this psu a while ago and they where quite impressive, you could praps do better for stability/delivery (not hugely though) in that price range but on looks and "tidyness" these win everytime!

Get out the measuring tape...
Dimensions: 150 x 86 x 158 (W x H x D)
I am going to assume that is mm or else that would be one big psu.
Here is where I found it.

Not a bad estimate only 1mm off

OK thanks a lot, that is exactly what I wanted. Glad to see I still know how to do proportions when I am not in school....
