Default 500 Internal Error

Does anybody know what this error message means:

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ehostingcomplete.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.ehostingcomplete.com Port 80"

The error message is at this location: http://www.ehostingcomplete.com/auctionh/

Any help appreciated.

It means the site is running a bad script (in essence). The 404 means the page doesn't exist.

Thank You,
Could it be because I have a CGI-BIN folder in a sub-directory?
E.g. http://www.ehostingcomplete.com/auctionh/cgi-bin instead of http://www.ehostingcomplete.com/cgi-bin
???????
You help is very much appreciated.

It could be that, try looking through some of the most common causes for a 500 here: http://www.thesitewizard.com/archive/servererror.shtml
