Hey, I've been looking at buying a new audio card. Right now I'm between the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 sound card and the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic. I don't really play games but I'm totally into good sound for my music. With that in mind, which of these two sound cards (or any other sound card) do you recomend? I really don't want to spend more than $200 and I would really like to spend around $100-$150, but then again, I want some awesome sound.
Thanks! |

Yeah, I have the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 and also the AKG K240s headphones... LOL, that's the thing, I have good speakers, but have been missing out because my motherboard's (or any motherboard's) onboard sound isnt a good enough source. Thanks for the advice though.
So cool, I think I'll go with the XtremeMusic then... sounds promising and most of the reviews have been positive. Before I go and buy it though, do you guys have suggestions for any other sound cards besides the two I just mentioned and the x-fi fatality? Last edited by dillon157; 06-29-2006 at 08:47 PM. |
