do you have on board video on that motherboard?

might be that the bios is not detecting the video card properly and so you need to plug the monitor into the on board plug first, try that and see if you get it to post

Make sure your Motherboard is not touching your case cause it could be shorting out. And make sure that your CPU is all the way in. And make sure your graphics card is pushed all the way into the slot and make sure that you didnt forget to put your D SUB or DVI cable from your monitor back into your Videocard.

hey buddy, we must be twins ...im going through the same crap right now

from what ive read so far on other forums, i think it's either the motherboard or the graphics card is fked up (duh) but most likely the motherboard, and some people said you could just replace the lithium ion battery (the really small one on the MOBO) and it solves your problem

that battery should have nothing to do with it, it's the cmos battery which saves your configuration settings when the computer has now power being supplied to it, so all it would do if that were dead is re detect everything everytime you restart your computer or every time you unplug it depending on the computer, it could be an issue of manufacturers of your hardware. I've heard of some Nvidia chipsets not likeing ati video cards. Try looking for any known compatibility issues
