Default MP3 DVD help

Is there something special about burning an MP3 DVD?

I'm using Nero burning software to try and burn a DVD MP3 disk to play on my DVD player. I selected the option of burning an MP3 DVD and added my music, and made sure it did not create a multisession disk.
I burned the disk and it will play on a computer with windows media player, however, it won't play on my other DVD player.
It's a panasonic 5 disk changer. It will play my DVD movies, my MP3 CDs and audio CDs along with a few other file types. However, it doesn't recognize the MP3 DVD.

Can anyone tell me why this may be and how I can get it to work?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Bryan

Your player may not recognize an MP3 DVD, it may only play MP3 CDs. Did the documentation say that it read MP3 DVDs?

So is there a formating difference in a MP3 CD versus an MP3 DVD?
Is the same true for a WMA DVD vs a WMA CD?

Burn the dvd as data and see if that works.

It is similar, but I believe that your player is not designed to read MP3 DVDs. Google the player model# and "MP3 DVD" and see if anyone else has the same trouble. I think it may only read MP3 CDs.

Yea I tried that.
I ended up with a slide show of the cover art from the albums.

And actually this review says it will play a DVD MP3 and WMA under "DVD System."

Maybe I'm doing something wrong... I'll just play with it some more and see what I can come up with.
