Default Installation of Windows OS

Hi, I have two hard disks which are partitioned as follows:

First harddisk 12 GB which contained the Windows XP OS
- C: drive

Second harddisk 40 GB partitioned
- D: Drive 20GB
- E: Drive 20 GB

However, my C drive space is running low and there are constant problems to my PC. As such, I have intention of installing my Windows XP OS to D: as it has higher disk space.

My question-

1. Can I just simply insert the windows OS disk and install the OS to D: drive?
2. Do I need to uninstall windows from C: first before installing OS to D:?
3. If I do not uninstall OS from C:, will there be conflict between C: and D: upon completion of the installtion of D: windows OS when I boot up my PC?
4. Any other advices?

Thank you, pals. Appreciate your prompt reply....
Thank you.
