Default CPU fan filter

I was wondering if I could put some kind of a filter in my computer to keep the dust down on my CPU's fan and heat sink. Would it restrict too much airflow? Where could I buy a small filter?

Here's my lame drawing of what I'm talking about:

Thanks, Matt

I think that you would lose a lot of airflow there, you might need to have 2 fans (one in the case, one on the heatsink)

But I don't see why it wouldn't work

This is what I have got, it is the side case with a Akasa 80mm fan, then the filter with tube, Akasa HS and fan. Works for now.

The both fans are sucking in air, both are running at the same RPM

The lights in the duct looks hot. Nice work.

EDIT: On second glance I see it is the fans, still looks awesome.
