Performance wise, I'm not completely sure what there is for that type of car. More than likely there will not be a whole lot of bolt on performance parts for that model. But with a little research and asking, you might be surprised at what type of parts may be available.

oo, i just remembered, you could get a nice exhaust system, not the big coffee can junks, a nice 1, an exhaust place will probrably charge you like $250, if that.

If your totally into performance, then there is something's you could do like gut the whole thing out to lighten it up. (I don't think your dad would like that idea,). I guess you could also add some nitrous, maybe even possibly do a V-8 engine swap.
I'd probably look into buying a different car if you really want to get into the performance side of cars.

yeahh, it'd be 2 much work, a V-8 is obviously alot bigger, and you would have 2 weld up different motor mounts, lot of work.
