Question What should i do?

I know there is already another thread about this but i know people dont like people hijacking threads. So i can either build a computer or buy my dads car. it is a 1998 oldsmobile regency with 112000 miles on it V6 205 horsepower leather seats and everything top of the line for a car back then and my dad replaced the tires on it so they are almost brand new. he wants $3000 for it should i build a computer or buy the car i have a learners permit and will be getting my license sometime in october. heres a picture of what the car looks like its not mine its one i found off of google looks exactly the same tires rims and everything.

i dont think he'd be happy about having 2 put money out 4 fixing the heap .

new rims would make it look nicer, 205HP is pretty good 4 a V-6 4 it's day.

Yup i dont want to have to put money into fixing a car just modding it and everything. ya it has a good engine and its got some power to it. does anybody know of any good websites to buy rims from and some that you would recommend putting on this car. this car also has a huge trunk where i am going to be putting some subs in there.

I looked the car up on Kelly Blue Book and it is worth around 6,500, so your getting a good deal.
I dont know if I would put rims on it or not. Rims cost money and there is always that chance of messing them up. If you could find some low-cost rims, which you wont care about curb rash or dirt then go for it.
I would probably put some of the money towards getting a tune up and maybe even putting some sort of stereo in it.
