I have a P3 Sony Vaio, the only problems with it are :

1. The battery lasts 20 minutes
2. The CPU fan only spins when it feels like it.

Other than that it runs like a dream for me.

I'll sell it for $400.

The CPU fan is not supposed to spin all the time, only when it needs to.

And $400 is too high, considering that is what you could get a brand new computer for.

yeah, $400 is way 2 high, it's a P3, you'll probrably only get around $150-$200.

I'm well aware of the fact that it's not supposed to spin all of the time, but sometimes the laptop shuts down because of the temperature. And other times, it will spin constantly.

I knew 400 was a bit high, but I just wanted to see what your input was on that.

BTW, specs are as follows.

1GHz P3
256MBs RAM
Intel Chipset Graphics
XP Pro
Brand New 40GB 5400 RPM HDD

Don't know if that would change you opinion on the price.
