So anyway, I am looking for an Instant camera.
Now I looked around and will probably get a Polaroid one600. Now, I also looked into the films, and something odd that occured to me was that some of them listed expiration dates. Now, does anyone have an instant camera with films like Polaroid 600 or along those lines where they can help me identify this issue about the expiration date. I never knew that films had expiration dates on them.. some of them this year, some next year.. so after the expiration date, are they unusable anymore? I never had any experience with Instant Camera's, so it's sorta like a new thing. I just want it for the photo right there and then.

All film I have ever seen has expiration dates. The problem with instant cameras is that they pretty much died out in the early 90s, so anything you find is probably just leftovers...
Now, I have no clue if "expired" film would actually work. I've stopped using film myself since about 2000 or so. So why, may I ask, are you looking into an instant camera? The quality isn't that great and you could probably buy a decent camera and mini-printer that would produce MUCH higher quality prints. Those instant cameras were never all that great.

Yeah I know. I just want one for that "I want the picture right now" type of moment.
I know that the quality sucks and that I dont mind at all. The one I am looking into will only cost me in the neighborhood of 10 bucks. I do have my own digital camera and film camera too. I also came along films for regular camera's with expiration dates.. however, I just didn't know about the ones for these type of camera's since I never exeperienced any of them. They come out instantly and I just needed info from anyone who may still have one and is actively still using it.

Anyone who has these.. I got another question..
Does anyone know if taking out the film and putting it back in will do any harm to it? It seems like it has a pack in there, but when I attempt to take a picture, nothing comes out. If some of you are unsure of what I am talking about.. I'm talking about these: ![]() Also, does anyone know the differences between the different types of films? 600, 779, 700, 780turbo, 788, 2000, etc..
