i had the same sort of problem, with my ECS MOBO. ECS is crap IMO. I have a AMD Athlon 2800+ 2.083 and it read it as 1600Mhz. It was the voltage frequency setting in the BIOS which i had to change to get it to read right.

Yeah, I think I'm finding out ECS isn't good, heard about the same types of problems. Thinking of getting a PC CHIPS M963GV (V5.0) Socket 478 SIS 661GX Micro ATX Intel Motherboard from newegg. How does that sound?
