Hi people,
I have a few questions regarding Photoshop/Fireworks and Flash. Well, what Is really the Ideal amount of RAM to have for Fireworks? Cos today I had it open, Just had a car displayed and a few animations on the document and it was using 763MB RAM , and using 100% CPU, which was causing havock to my system, In the end I just had to manually restart it?Any suggestions on how to speed it up? Dont mind getting another 512Meg stick if thats the case. Anyway, My Main Problem is, What I am trying to do is animate a car so it looks as if its going down a street, wheels spinning, maybe lights coming on half way through, few tree's waving, and (no, I don't want the car just driving Horizontal, I would like it to go diagonally across the page if thats possible?) Will I be able to do all of this in Photoshop/Fireworks or Flash? I am simply doing this out of boredom, and am feeling creative, Have googled and looked at tutorials but can't really find anything understandable. If I can do this what I am asking I was thinking about maybe hosting a site of creations First I just need to know what Tools I would need to use and What Extra programs I might need to download? Thanks

According to your system details in the signature you are mixing ram? That will hamper many things besides animating graphics. While the video card is up to the task there the programs for that come usually at a higher price. You generally have to go through even more tutorials as well as buying the programs that can run more then Photoshop and some others.
A few links here may be more useful then what you have been running across as far as tutorials. You are not the only one looking for some good ones there. http://www.webreference.com/3d/ http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/fac...n/Animscan.htm http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...nggraphics.asp http://www.huntfor.com/3d/software/modeling.htm The last one was from a search for freewares while the above links are there to give you the basic idea of how involved it can be like being familiar with visual basic and other programming tools. Some of the freewares/sharewares at the link here could be a help however. http://www.1000apps.com/Download-Gra...tion-Tools.php |
