Default Vista x64 drivers

I had no idea how hard it would be to find some drivers!
i've got 2 unknown devices showing up in device manager, and i cant think of what they could be... and i dont know how i'm gonna identify them... let alone get drivers for them

and i need drivers for my Netgear WG311T wireless PCI adapter!

i've found all the rest, but i still get a window popping up all the time saying i need to find the drivers blah blah blah...

anyone know how to identify unknown devices and where to find 64bit drivers?

How did you get vista? Can you buy it or is it just out for beta testing?

i'm using the public release - Beta 2 build 5384
our download limit and speed are both too small so i got it delivered which came with both x86 and x64 versions, so i thought id give the 64bit version a crack

What? this is what im getting from that post. Tell me if this is right. You work for a company that recieved vista beta, they couldn't use it so you took it. Is that right because I can't really undertand that post.

Haha, no.

He meant that he ordered the CD version instead of downloading it off Microsoft when it was released to the public.

Have you tried this one?

it was released by microsoft so that anyone can download it for free or get it delivered (postage and handling costs), and our download speed at home is too slow so i got it delivered...

Yeh i downloaded it but there wasn't any .exe file to install it with... how do i install it?

edit: i went into device manager and used the 'update driver' button which found and tried to install the driver but it doesn't end up installing it saying
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (code 39)"

does that mean it didn't download right?

Livzz, what is the extension of the file that you downloaded?
It might need to be extracted for it to work if it has been compressed. (Like .zip, .rar, etc..)

VicTTim77, hah thanks.

i cant check now, i'm not at home... but it downloaded as a .zip file, so i extracted it out into a new folder, and there was no exe file... but i ran the update driver thingo in device manager, which recognised it as a driver, yet it came up with the error message i mentioned earlier

dunno why though
