I'd have to say that the CIH (Chernoybl) computer virus is relatively high up there on the most damaging, as on the annerversiry of the Chernoybl nuclear disaster (April 26), it would deliever it's payload, potentially ruining the flash BIOS of motherboards which used the Intel 430TX chipset.

Are you sure you didn't just block access to port 80 (which would mean avast wouldn't detect that, since it's not a virus ).

Worst virus? I don't know, I haven't actually had any. Atleast, I have never experienced a virus as bad as the Chernobyl one that Clutch was talking about...

*looks into guinness book of world records* the virulent 'i love you' virus was the most widespread the world has ever known. it was first detected in hong kong may 1 2000. within four days it had mutated into three different generations. the love bug combined sophistical programmng with a cunning apeal to the human psyche. when users opened the 'i love you' attachment, the virus was instantly forwarded to all people in your address book. governments, multinationalcorporations, and small businesses were all affected. at its height it closed the white house and US state department e-mail network.seven days after it was first dected it was estimated to be on 3.1 million computers.

think about it... 2 7900GTs:
7900+7900=15800
that is obviously a much higher number than 7950...

Hmmm... my PC wasn't infected with viruses like more that a year now, just don't go on those sites (you know what I'm talking about) and everything will be fine, oh yeah, and use Firefox.
