Really need help

So I got the hauppauge 150. I hooked up my satellite receiver to it via an S-video cable. I tuned it to channel 4 but no luck. Is there any other cables I have to hook up? I just get static on the wintv2k app.

EDIT: I have video, but no sound, what may be the problem there. Also how do I change the satellite channels.

Ok I think I have figured out that you need the remote to change channels, but none of the dish network codes are working.

Ok, I have everything working except audio. Can someone please tell me how to get the audio working?

What do you mean? I found the thing that says audio in on the manual, but what actually goes in there.
