Smile Please help....

Before I start I must say that I know pretty much nothing about computers, so here goes;

For the last 2 weeks I have not been able to get onto any sites that mean logging on, ie: my ebay acc, my banking, msn messenger etc. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this. I have checked for viruses but seems ok. As you can tell I have managed to log on here and also yahoo.

Any tips plz plz plz leave in " talking to a complete idiot" language.

ty so very much

Check your system for spywares too with Spybot.
Have you installed recently SP2? I had some problems not getting in secure sites after installing it.

Since you are able to access the wesite, we derive that Internet is working fine...

Try this:

Check if Username/Password is in proper case...I.e Check for the CAPS Lock button on your keyboard...

Goto file - > Work Offline ...It should be unchecked

If still it does not work, we shall try something else
