Found this:

Step #1:

Visit this link and get the CrystalCPUID utility (freeware)

http://crystalmark.info/?lang=en

Install and run, it will give you a plethora of details on your system.

Chipset and your motherboard model is what you want to know, mine was ATI Radeon Xpress 200 and MS-7093 (an OEM motherboard)

Step #2 Head to the appropriate web site for your MOTHERBOARD manufacturer and snag their version of the chipset update, in my case I got the one nearest match, I have a Gateway STORE only motherboard, made by MSI
(Microstar) so MSI had it here, it looked rather odd that I had to download this whole thing, but the install program was smart, and only gave me what I needed which afterwards the SM Bus Controller was no longer at issue in Device Manager, and upgraded some other drivers as well.

Link to driver page I got mine from, just in case it helps anyone.

http://www.msi.com.tw/program/suppo...list.php?part=1

I got the ATI System Drivers for RS480 XP/2000 version, installed, and all done.
