for spyware: Adaware or Spybot Search and Destroy are FREE and get the job done
For Antivirus either you have no idea which one to get or YOU SWEAR BY one. I have used Norton for many years and will never use anything else.

I personally use spysweeper, Giant Antispyware and Spybot Search and Destroy, since they have the highest ratings by PC Magazine.
Norton surely can get the job done but they could cause many problems as will. Personally i have NIS2004 Pro and it slowed down my computer start up time to like 3Min and 27Secs. after uninstalled it my start up time is more like around 1min and 19 second. Any way many of these software could cause as many problems as it can fix. |
