Default Upgrade of old system while new build evolves

Ok a new tact since not much info coming my way about a new build. I was planning on upgrading my old rig anyway and was wondering what you guys thought . The new build will take place later on I guess. My current computer has a antec tower case with this motherboard: http://demo.pinnaclecart.com/product...ail-37-13.html

Do you guys know the best / fastest pentuim chip compatible with this motherboard? It currently has a 2.4 800 FSB .

http://intel.com/products/processor/...HTXE/index.htm any way that will work in my motherboard or ...

also need to find the best graphics card the mb can handle along with best ram.
That setup should hold me over till i decide what the new build will be. Any suggestions / and what the above or your suggestion might cost would be greatly appreciated
Thanx
Rob

You should go with a Pentium D since its a dual core. Try to get a good speed on that and it shouldnt be much more than a Pentium 4. If you wanted you could wait a month and prices will drop since the Core Duo 2 is coming out.
