PhotoShop 7 fonts?

Hi,
I have downloaded some fonts from dafont.com, and would like to know how to open them in PhotoShop? They are in the truetype file format and when I go to open them from PhotoShop they won't appear? I guess PhotoShop doesn't allow/recognize them, what should I do?

have you installed the fonts to the c:\windows\fonts\
folder

put fonts in folder

you mast put the new fonts in c:\windows\fonts\

ok ok, i think he gets it now, jesus guys, apj answered fine, im pretty sure he has enough confidence in himself as not to hav 2 other people repeat exactly what he said.
