Surround sound help

I have a 5.1 surround system for my computer, and i have a creative sound blaster audigy, and i want my back 2 speakers to play sound only for effects in the background and for songs, how do i set it to do that?

It's basically all or nothing unless whatever's playing audio is capable of surround sound.

Well, You can go into the eax settings and turn the sorround sound effect to more in the front.
