what ram would be better to run in an AM2 build with a dual core proc.
DDR2 667 with cas latency of 3 and lower timings or DDR2 800 with 4 for CAS and 4-4-4-12

The DDR2-800 will run better. If you got DDR2-667 to 800 speeds, your going to have much higher timings.

I got OCZ DDR2 800, but there has been some problems. They say that the OCZ 800 doesnt run correctly and you will get beep codes every now and then. I had this problem and I had to first up the voltage to 2.1 and downclock the ram from 800 to 677 and now it runs perfect.
