You can have both. What you'll need to do is install a Bootloader of some sort to allow you to pick which OS you want to use (Linux installation will ask you about this)

Yuh i created a duel boot partition so that i could run, Red Hat 9.1 and Windows 2000 on my lappy. Everything will come on the Red Hat Disks.

Use Partition Magic!!!!! Very helpful

From my experience newer versions of Linux (mandrake, fedora core 2) have not been able to work on older Pentiums (tried it on a 350mhz and 600mhz). I had to resort to an older version of Red Hat. Hope you have better luck. (Yet those same computers can run Windows XP and Server 2003...)

cool.

I guess the high powered GUI flavors are the ones that can not handle slower machines... which makes sense.
