Hey guys, I've been buildin' pcs for years now, and I'm thinking of building high-end gaming pcs and underselling the big names. I.E. I could build a gaming pc for bout $800+ american, that "Alien Ware" charges $1350 for. Do you think I could sell something like that on Craigslist for like 1100$ and make a 300$ profeit while underselling alienware buy 250$? Or I could even build a p.c. for around 1k that aleinware sells for 1700. SO......just wondering.
(F.Y.I., I know it would probably work out on ebay, but I still unsure on how the whole ebay system works, If you could also give me tips about selling pcs on ebay, I'd be grateful) |

There are many computer building services out there. You'll have to only not undersell Alien Ware, XPS etc..you'll have to undersell them too.

Not only that, you'd been competeing against a very well known and respected company, which is a hrd thing to do, no matter how cheap you sell.

some people would buy it i suppose, how about offering something different aswell, like a lifetime warranty (labour only) could sway people towards you

You know what? I bought an old server (I thought) just at a yardsale, and awesomely enough, the was 10 36gig scsi HDD 10000 rpms in it, and two Intell Xeon 2.8 gig. I just sold the CPUs on Ebay for $250, and a noname P3 with the usual 128 megs od memory and a 20 gig HDD for a $100. It's so cool, and Ebay I would say is the only place where you can really do these things in that manner.
Try it out, and build one or two, and list them with a price reserve so that you won't loose any money. I'll help you out as much as I can, if you need it, but there are some nice Ebay tutorials you can use. Good Luck man!
