that was the tv tuner i was looking to get, but after a littl investigating i found that there are a few tv tuners out there with a QAM tuner in them for over the air HDTV. i have cable now, but in my area i can get about 25 extra channels with a QAM tuner that would come through in HDTV. so are there any HDTV PCI cards out there that perform as well as the Hauppauge one does and still has the dual recording option? |

I don't know much about HDTV yet, but I haven't found many HDTV compatabile tuners that really caught my attention. Most of them have rather low ratings and are rather featureless... Give the technology a bit longer to catch up as HDTV's still rather new.

personally i'd love to have this card, also HDTV is huge so if you plan to record anything make sure you have lots of hard drive space
