Default Stracting?

I think that its more likely a pc fan. Are you sure it's your harddrive?

Hard to tell without hearing it. Do you think you could record the sound and put it in a small wav file and then a ZIP file so you can attach it to a message?

Off to bed at 3:51 PM? Am I the only computer geek in the world who follows a normal sleep schedule?

Your time zone is EST. There are people on this forum who do not live in the United States.

Now, as for your computer noise, open your case and take a look at the fan(s) and hard drive and hear where the problem is when you turn it on.
