Could my CPU be hurt?!?!?!

ok i am currently building a computer and i bought my CPU and when i recieved it i wanted to put it somewhere where the little kids could not get to it... and i have an entertainment center type deal in my room with a TV and next to my TV is a small area for storing items so i put it there and i move the CPU to a different spot and now when i whatch tv or play games i notice the side by where the CPU was is discolored.... could my CPU be damaged now from this (i am not to worried about the screen it is not very bad...) i just want to know if my CPU may be damaged from my TV or if my CPU could have damaged my TV.....

im not quite getting what your saying, im a little slow lol, where exactly did you sit the CPU?

Computer=the box
CPU=a little part inside the computer

It helps to know exactly what you are talking about.

This discolouration is probably from the monitor/TV. Does it come off with water/soap?
