The pdf file from Sony shows 1gb maximum for PC2100 DDR266 memory seen at
http://www.docs.sony.com/release/specs/PCGK35_mksp.pdf Seeing a 1gb of ram would max that out. That's the one problem with portables is the lack of ability to upgrade past a certain point. Custom built laptops give a little more but not much there either.
