So I'd really like to buy some 5.1 klipsch speakers for my i8600. My only question is if its worth it. Can my i8600 process the sound to my 5.1 speakers, i'm not that knowledgable when it comes to that. I'd really like the surround sound but i have a feeling that laptops dont have the proper sound card to give you the true 5.1 experience. And if it cant, what would you recomend for me to buy (external sound card).
Thanks Shaukat Talib |

It is highly unlikely that your laptop will process 5.1 surround sound. If you want an external sound card that will then look for a Sound Blaster Extigy. It connects to the usb port and is basically and external Sound Blaster Audigy. That should really open up your options as to what speaker system you can use.
