dvd to ipod

I have a dvd of season seven friends. I want to put it on my ipod, but itunes wont accept the format it comes in... how do I get the season dvd on my ipod???

It is basically pointless to put a full DVD on your iPod. The battery wont last long enough to watch most of the episodes.

you would need to get a dvd ripper to convert the dvd format to an .avi or .mpg then convert that to an .mp4, unless you can get a converter that will do it in one. Not any that I know of check www.download.com
