amd or intel?

its looks like it should do just fine with the likes of half life 2. Although im a bit unsure about the graphics card, everything else seems pretty uprated but then its a geforce 6200, it really deserves something better

I really doubt the video card will play half-life 2. If at all just probably at all low-settings.
Also, if you want to see what else you can play on your computer try this link.

That video card would probably play HL2, but just on the lowest settings. I used to have it and my old Radeon 8500 could usally play games better.

It will play half life fine, but you might want to upgrade the video card if you have the money.

hey hey hey, dont doubt that card, i have an FX5200 and i can play HL:2 perfectly fine at 1024x768 (no AA or AF or anything though) high textures, high shadows, high everything else. Runs fine, a tad jerky in smoke filled screens but what d'ya expect.

As for the rest of the PC yes, it should all be fine, looks good, although dont go around saying you have 6Ghz CPU, you'll get laughed at, dual core theoretically means you have 2x3.0Ghz but it doesnt quite work like that...

Hey dragon I have the same graphics card and Battlefield 1942 works fine although it gave out on me today. I called Dell and theyre sending me a new one. This system is like 3 years old, before I knew enough to build a PC. I'm probably going to build one within the next 3 months.
