Default Advice on my planned out computer :)

My budget is $1100, This computer will mostly be used for hardcore gaming, along with graphics designing and dvd/cd burning. I haven't built a computer in years, so I'm still refreshing on all the new parts, and the things I need to build it. Please let me know where you think I could save money/upgrade from and such. Here's what I've come up with so far:

i think you should get a 7600GT instead of the 6800 Extreme. the 7600Gt is much better than the 6800. other than that it looks fine

here's the cheapest 7600GT on newegg: PNY Geforce 7600GT VCG7600GXPB Video Card - Retail at Newegg.com

Awesome thanks.. Im gonna go with PNY Geforce 7600GT VCG7600GXPB Video Card - Retail at Newegg.com
I think.. But I need to shave off $30-50 in this list now that i've upgraded the video card.. where do you think I could do it? I was thinking the case, since it is a bit on the expensive side for not having a PSU. I do love the attractive windows/lights.

think about it... 2 7900GTs:
7900+7900=15800
that is obviously a much higher number than 7950...

I would also get one 1GB stick of ram instead of 2X512MB sticks. Will be better for when you want to upgrade to (probably) 2GB.

If you didn't know or to remind you, around the 23rd of this month (July), all of the AMD dual-core processors will be dropping HEAVILY in price. Most likely to somewhere around half what they are now. That will free up quite a bit of space to work with. Good luck with you build.

I wouldn't get just one stick of ram. Get 2x 512mb like you were going to being the mobo supports 4 dimms. So you can just add another 2x512mb in the future if it is necessary.
