my friend got an xbox 360 and i was wondering how you hook them up? i saw microsofts video and i was just wondering if you really need windows xp media center?
the reason is because we want to play battle for middle earth 2 against each other. though we both agree that the computer mouse is better for this type of game i think he still needs to get better at it... regardless of what he uses to play it.

You only need Media Center if you want to transfer media and such to the 360 and vice versa. As far as I know you can't play a PC version of BFME2 against an XBox360 version.

You can't play games with each other (atleast not until Live anywhere, which will connect your Xbox Live to your PC, Mobile phone, and console) The only thing 360 has with PC thus far is media capabilities (music, pictures, etc...)

Once Microsoft releases Live Anywhere (Vista launch) you can do stuff like that (with certain titles), although I agree, anybody with a mouse and keyboard will have an edge over a controller user in action games.
