Default mystery problem

Whenever I play Battlefield 2 for more than zbout 5 minutes a beeping sound starts issueing from my computer. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. My first thought was that the CPU was overheating but in the past I have had no problems with running BF2 it was just a sudden start.

Are you playing the game on your laptop's battery? If you are it just means your battery is almost dead and you have to plug it in. But if you are not using your laptop and using your desktop then maybe it is just because you are pressing too many buttons on the keyboard too many times. By the way this can also go if you are using it on your laptop.

im not that much of a noob its not cause of pressing too many buttons and it is my desktop. it is the same beep as the too many buttons but at regular intervals of about 5 seconds. im not good at estimating the time. when i get a minute i will measure it exactly.

well after further investigation ( i opened the case and listened) i have seen that it is the video card. Now ive run into a bigger problem after lowering the core clock 40mhz from stock and the mamory clock 80mhz it still overheats and beeps. What could be causing this and how can i fix it?

Hello,

My suggestion will be to purchase a cooling unit for your graphics card. The fan or heat sync on it is not producing enough power.

I will suggest you getting the following :

Arctic Cooling

You will need to put that on your graphics card.. It will help a lot.

Regards -

Joe
