Questions about WS monitors and TV tuners

Hi, I have a few questions about some additions I'd like to make to my computer.The specs for my computer (its over 3 years old) are below

My questions are:
1. I'd like to buy a new monitor and I was wondering if my computer would be able handle a widescreen monitor without distorting the picture? and if it can, can i hook up the both monitors to the computer and operate with both?

2. I'd like to install a TV tuner to my computer. I was wondering which brand/model to look at as im not familar with them. I'd like to be able to watch and record tv, but im just worried about compatability issues/my computer not being able to handle it.

Dell
3.0 GHz P4 Processor
756 MB Ram
120+400GB Hard drives
ATI Radeon 9700 (128MB DDR)
Sound Blaster Audigy
