I will be embarking upon building a computer soon.
I will be using it for games,Im not gona ask for parts and to build me one.im quite capable, but i just need some advice on what i should do.

i was planning on going with the x2 5000+ range for my cpu choice along with am2 and ddr2 ram. But when i starting hearing alot about Intel's new creation i got a bit mixed up.
People tell me to wait and get a lower speed conroe for my system.
but i feel that i want a AMD based system, and that a higher up x2 cpu would be just as good for gaming and such as a conroe would be.
if i get the conroe will i really see THAT much of a difference? all this hype got me mixed up alot.
