Default NVidia Geforce FX 5500

Where can i get some good drivers for this? The drivers that came with card suck and the ones I download are not so good either.

Is my max resolution supposed to be 1024 by 768? I had more with my POS 32MB ATI 128 Rage Pro.

yes, i had that card, it doesnt go any higher than 1024 x 768

what? I have an FX5200, and it's running at 1280x1024 right now. It should definately be higher than what your getting

Yeah....You should be able to go higher, as long as your monitor supports it.

Yeah just install the new drivers. These should be fine for you: ForceWare 91.31 Windows 2000/XP WHQL Just scroll down and download..

I had FX 5500 256MB AGP and it was OK.. Runned it @ 1280x960 and it ran well

My max is still 1048 by 768. that's what i normally use anyway so it's all good. I guess my monitor doesn't support it.

15" LCD dell E151 FPp and it says that it's max resolution is 1024 by 768 on everest so it's no big as long i get to play the sims 2 and guild wars
