Default Sound Blaster Live 5.1 and Logitech X-530 speakers

I just bought a set of Logitech (X-530) speakers. The package includes five speakers and a subwoofer. There are three audio plugs (Black for rear speakers, green for front speakers and orange for centre speaker) that need to be plugged into the my Sound Blaster sound card. I matched the colour coded plugs with the colour coded socket on the sound card, but I could not get the centre speaker to work. I noticed that the orange socket on the sound card provide a very low output signal when compare to the green and black sockets. Is this mean my sound card is defective? or is there any setup that I am not aware of. Your suggestions or opinions on this matter is very much appreciated.

what are you using to test the center speaker? if it is an mp3 file then the center wont work u will need to use the emulation button(on my logitechs it is called matrix and its on the center) also if that isnt it do u have bass? because the center and bass are on the same plug and the center/subwoofer(the orange slot)is a different kind of jack than the green and black so that may be why ur getting lower signals

in order for the center speaker to work for normal music and stuff, you'll need to enable 5.1 sound emulation. Try watching a movies with 5.1 surround sound and the cente speaker should fire up.
