Password Protected Folder... I FORGOT my password!

I hope I'm not too screwed here, but I have a folder that I made months ago and password protected it and cannot remember the password. It's a compressed folder with a password on XP. Is there any way of retrieving the information from the folder or bypassing the password? ANY advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There are programs that do this available that find out the passwords on WinRar/Winzip files but Im not sure if this is breaking the rules on this forum. Do a google search.

yeah, you're right.. do a little searching and it doesn't take that much... it only took me about half an hour to recover it. Thanks

Im not sure what you mean, whats the problem? And I'm afraid its only a 10 line signature at this forum, if you don't change it the moderators could delete it alltogether.
