Default 2x 7800GTX or 1 7950GTX

im going to buy some new grafics for my pc, since i have a NV motherboard, ati is kind of out of the question for me atm.
i can get a 7950GTX for 50eurie's more than 2x 7800GTX (256mb).
what would you sugges't me to get? or suggest a other card if you want.

however.. if i buy 1 7950GTX, i dont think i would be buying a 2nd one later, but i would just upgrade to a newer generation anyway.

what would be the best performance wise? 2x 7800GTX or 1 7950GTX?

cheers

Deffinetly get the 7950GX2, since it's the same thing as two 7900 series cards in one. Not to mention it has 1GB of memory, vs the 256MB with the 7800GTX.

Agreed, the 7950GX2 will perform better. And later down the road it would be easier to sell 1x 7950GX2 over 2x 7800GTX.

If you can buy it now, go ahead, technology is moving too fast to wait for the new stuff. No point in waiting.
