does anyone know how i can speed up the windows boot screen and startup on my laptop because when i turn my computer on it stays on the boot screen for about a minute then it starts windows.

What version of Windows do you have and what are your computer's specs?
Try running Disk Defrag. and Disk Cleanup.

Do you have spybot and ad-aware installed? If not, sometimes spyware can slow down your computer.

some bios have a setting to increase boot time. I think it eliminates tests or something.
