3G Notebook blank screen

My G3 Ibook 900mhz, just crapped the bed I think. For the past few days it has been actin kind of funny, it would flicker here and there, but nothing major. Well today I turn on the Laptop and it is just a blank screen, it loads and all, but no nothing on the screen. I hope its not my Logic board, anyone have any ideas?

could be the monitor cable shorted out or ripped, i've had something similar happen the monitor cable literally ripped. Might be a faulty power inverter or something too, try connecting it to a regualr monitor to make sure it's not somehting with the system board or video card

What do you think the chances are that it is the PRAM battery?

backlight maybe? shine a led flashlight on it and see if your getting video still. my old hp just did that to me, and i bought a new ibook.

i'm not sure it would be the battery, could be the back light does the screen still appear to be lit just displaying a black screen or does it look like it's off?
