Hello all.I'm kinda new.
My friend's been getting problem with her IE for a long time now. The error is as follow : " appname: iexplorer.exe Appver: 6.0.2800.1106 Modname :sfg_155f.dll Modver: 2.0.0.0 offset: 00016fa0". Her OS is win2000 sp4
On my side i did the following
1.run virus scan -- no viruses
2.run spyware -- removed all spyware/adware etc (those hanging with IE too)
3.run "sfc/scannow"
3.re-installed IE.
4.Removed BHO's

still explorer generates that stoopid error.What's causing this.?
I tried telling her to move to Opera or firefox but she's stuck on IE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Got it Poeple.I downloaded a copy of hijack this! and removed something called PC shield and some other stuffs.(BHO's again) IE worked great.Rebooted PC.IE works fine now.
