Default DDR2 1000 motherboard

Hello,

Is there a motherboard that supports DDR2 1000 memory? I can't seem to find one on new egg.

hmm, interesting I thought there were, but couldn't find any either, my guess is once conroe is officially released we will see more mobos that natively support ddr2 1000 especially since so many ram manu. are making it now. One option is buy a board that supports ddr2 800 that is a decent overclocker and "oc" your ram to its default speeds.

I have overclocked a cpu before, but never memory. Ive only had experience with a biostar motherboard that was easy to overclock my p4 2.53 northwood. What settings will allow you to overclock memory in the bios?

Not completely sure, I really don't overclock, except for my ram which I do have to oc to its stock timings. I use an asus mobo though, but normally its gonna be under an option of like timings or such and then it will list your latencys and the operating frequency of your ram.
