Default how 2 transfer files....

how do i transfer files from 1 HD, 2 another? i have no idea how 2 do it with a laptop, could anybody help me?

Run the home networking wizard on one of them (assuming 1 has xp). Make the disk for the other comp (unless xp, then run the wizard). Then two network folders will be in the network places directory, just copy the files.

ok, im confused as hell lol, im a noob 2 this stuff, ok, i want the files transfered from my Solo's old HD, 2 a new HD, thats going into my Solo. my Solo dont have a cd-rom.

Then plug both drives into one machine, and transfer the files with explorer?
